My husband and I visited Bangalore to spend a few days at our son’s home, and what awaited us there was an experience woven with beauty, discipline, and unforgettable charm.
The moment we arrived, Bangalore welcomed us with its serene sense of order. I was mesmerized by the impeccable traffic discipline, the graceful movement of vehicles, and the gentle civic behaviour of its people. Everyone walked calmly on the footpaths, maintaining a quiet dignity that felt refreshing. The city seemed adorned with nature’s finest artistry—vibrant flowers blooming along the roadsides, adding colour and fragrance to the daily rhythm of life. Our visit to the magnificent flower exhibition felt like entering a world of living poetry, where every flower radiated exquisite beauty and elegance.
The next day, we explored the city through the Bangalore Metro, a perfect example of cleanliness and efficiency. Each station reflected meticulous care, and the dedicated cleaning staff ensured an atmosphere of purity and comfort.
On 5th December, our journey took us to Coorg, the enchanting hill station fondly called the “Coffee City.” The spice garden there was a paradise of aromas. My heart filled with joy as I saw clove trees, cardamom plants, cinnamon bark, bay leaf trees, and the climbing black pepper vines. Our visit to the organic and medicinal wine unit added a touch of intrigue and wonder.
This entire trip stirred my heart deeply. I sincerely wish that my beloved Indore too becomes the number one city in traffic discipline and systematic road management, shining as a model of civic excellence for the nation.
Our journey to Bangalore and Coorg remains a fragrant, colourful, and soul-refreshing memory, forever etched in my heart.
